How this works

This is a monthly page of letters from residents, addressed to their neighbours, under their own names. A letter is written by a person here, edited with them, and run in an issue. A reply is another letter, in the next issue.

Before you write

1. Sign it with your name and your neighborhood.
2. Write about a place or a decision, not a person.
3. Five hundred words is the ceiling. One letter per issue.
4. Name the area it belongs to. We tag it, we do not move it.
5. We publish it as you wrote it, or we tell you why we cannot.
